Alpine Lace Brands forms Industrial Co-Branding Division.

: LACE) announced today the formation of an Industrial Co-Branding Division to market and serve the industrial/ingredient food business.

This is in addition to a recently instituted marketing effort to service national food service restaurant chains The following is a list of restaurant chains.

The division, which will be headed by Alpine Lace Vice President and Co-Founder Marion Wolf, was formed to coordinate the company's industrial/ingredient and food service sales which have increased substantially during 1995.

 Carl T. Wolf, president and chief executive officer of Alpine Lace, the company is currently negotiating approximately 25 to 30 industrial projects with a number of food producers and processors. The projects include the use of Alpine Lace(R) reduced fat and fat free cheeses in a variety of food products such as frozen pizzas, salads, burgers or other food items. The industrial and chain food service industries represent a multi-fold growth opportunity versus the company's present distribution primarily to supermarket delicatessens.

Almost all of the projects involve co-branding and use of the Alpine Lace(R) trade mark on the outside of the package to indicate that the product is of high quality. Some of the products already in or about to begin distribution include Hudson Foods(R) 99% Fat Free Chicken Breast Fajita fa·ji·ta

Alpine Lace brand cheeses are sold in virtually every supermarket in the nation. The company also recently introduced fat free and reduced sodium turkey breast which will be in national distribution by early 1996.

Alpine Lace Brands Inc. develops and markets a full line of low salt and low cholesterol cheeses, as well as a full line of fat free cheeses, all sold under the Alpine Lace(R) label. The company's primary product lines provide nutritionally superior cheese products while meeting consumer demands concerning taste and product quality. Through its Marolf Dakota Farms Cheese Inc. subsidiary, the company converts and packages the company's warehouse and club store cheeses as well as dairy case sliced cheeses. In addition, through MCT See Microsoft certification.  Dairies Inc., the company engages in the cheese and dairy products commodity trading business.
