:ALPE) a leading provider of regional air cargo transport and logistics services, today announced that it has elected Joseph O. Etchart, to its Board of Directors. Mr. Etchart will replace former Board member, Richard Rowack, who has left to pursue personal interests. The total number of Alpine Board members stands at five.

Mr. Etchart most recently served as Alpine's Director of Public and Investor Relations. He is also President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Hinsdale Land Company, a real estate and agricultural enterprise in Montana. Since 1985, Mr. Etchart has served on the Board of Directors and is former Chairman of the Board of Montana Livestock Ag Credit, one of the premier agricultural lending institutions in the Pacific Northwest. He also served two terms as President of the Washington, D.C. based National Public Lands Council, where he was involved in the legislative and regulatory process associated with federal land commodity production. In addition, he has held numerous civic, political and appointed posts including Campaign Finance Chairman during the first successful election of Montana Governor Marc Racicot. Mr. Etchart received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Carroll College in 1970 and is an active member of numerous organizations including the Knights of Columbus Knights of Columbus, American Roman Catholic society for men, founded (1882) at New Haven, Conn. (where its headquarters are still located), by Father Michael J. McGivney. .

Alpine also announced today that Michael Dancy will replace Mr. Etchart as Alpine's internal Public and Investor Relations Coordinator. Mr. Dancy is Managing Partner of M. E. Dancy & Associates, an executive management consulting firm. Mr. Dancy's extensive aviation and program management experience includes serving as Regional Engineering Manager at Boeing North America and Program Manager at McDonnell Douglas.
