 Alpine management, fixed fuel costs are incredibly important for the following reasons:

* Fixing the cost of Alpine's fuel could add over one million dollars to the Company's profits, based on last year's costs.

* Fixing the cost of fuel reduces risk associated with natural disasters and unrest in the Middle East.

* Reducing a highly volatile expense significantly reduces market risk, which should increase shareholder confidence.

* Alpine was able to lock in its fuel cost when oil was trading at a lower price per barrel, as opposed to current and historic levels, which are significantly higher.
