(NYSE: IM), the world's largest wholesale distributor of technology products and services, to offer a menu of SKU'd IT services to Ingram Micro's customer base in North America.

Separately, Ingram Micro signed a multi-year licensing agreement for a custom-tailored version of AlphaServ.com's ServiceTrak(SM) Web service.

Under the services agreement, Ingram Micro resellers will be offered a list of standardized AlphaServ.com IT services, which are structured to be ordered, similar to cataloged products. These SKU'd services will be sold through Ingram Micro's sales force.

This new service contract follows an announcement made last week that Ingram Micro would offer a menu of managed IT services from AlphaServ.com to its customer base.

Services provided through the global distributor include warranty and help desk services for Ingram Micro's unbranded systems, manufactured through Frameworks(TM), Total Integration Services(TM) -- Ingram Micro's global integration offering that provides channel assembly, unbranded and configuration services to resellers. Both agreements expand the breadth of services and reseller support that AlphaServ.com currently provides Ingram Micro.

This service, which is driven by the company's AlphaCONNECT(R) technologies, supports the non-branded system warranty service program already in place between the two companies.

Under the new licensing agreement, AlphaServ.com will provide Ingram Micro with password-protected access to ServiceTrak, enabling the distributor to effectively manage Frameworks' warranty data. Ingram's customized version of ServiceTrak renders a view of entitlement data on all Frameworks systems shipped.

The Frameworks staff will be able to quickly access reseller name, shipping date and address, product model numbers, serial numbers, warranty status and dynamically updated service histories on all systems via a common Web browser.
