) on Tuesday announced it has accepted the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Michael J. Lowell, 38, who has accepted a chief operating position with a local company in another industry.

 President and Chief Executive Officer Douglas J. Tullio, Lowell will continue as CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  at the company until late November, and will be available to consult with the company on financial results for the quarter ending Nov. 24.

Tullio said that the company has already interviewed candidates for the position of CFO. He said that it is the company's intention that the new CFO be on board during a transition period prior to Lowell's departure.
