Alpha Innotech Introduces ChromaLight(TM) Multiwavelength Illuminator for Multiplex and In Vivo Imaging.

 is now available from Alpha Innotech Corporation (AIC AIC Association des Infermières Canadiennes. ), a provider of bioanalytical systems for drug discovery and life science research. The module will allow users to image a wide range of fluorescence dyes applied to new emerging applications such as multiplex See multiplexing.  westerns for the study of proteins, in vivo in vivo /in vi·vo/ (ve´vo) [L.] within the living body.

 imaging for cancer research and the monitoring of other biological activities. ChromaLight can be used with FluorChem family of imaging systems from Alpha Innotech.

The core of the ChromaLight Multiwavelength Illuminator is a fiber optic light source module which allows the excitation of fluorescent dyes between 400nm - 750nm. The light source can accommodate up to five excitation filters. This module is designed to be sold with new imaging systems and current customers can retrofit ret·ro·fit
