Alonzo Mourning gets kidney donated by a cousin.


Alonzo Mourning, former National Basketball Association National Basketball Association (NBA)

U.S. professional basketball league. It was formed in 1949 by the merger of two rival organizations, the National Basketball League (founded 1937) and the Basketball Association of America (1946).

New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia Medical Center on December 23rd.

The kidney was donated by his 30-year-old cousin, Jason Cooper. Both patients were listed in stable condition following the transplant and released from the hospital on the same day.
