Alogent, P&H Solutions, and TowerGroup to Present at PAYMENTS 2005 Conference `Perfect Storm: The Converging Forces Driving Adoption of Remote Deposit Solutions'.
What: Since Check 21 was enacted in October 2004, several
financial institutions have announced Remote Deposit
Services. How and where these solutions will be adopted
remains in question, and Check 21 is not the only new
variable impacting check electronification solutions.
Factors including proposed amendments to the NACHA
Operating Rules and Regulation E and enhanced competition
for deposit services business among financial institutions
are creating a "Perfect Storm" of forces that will make a
broad-based electronification of check deposits at
corporate and merchant sites viable.
Experts such as Robert Hunt, senior research analyst of
TowerGroup, Robert Meara, director of product marketing
for Alogent Corporation and Debbie Smart CTP, business
development manager of P&H Solutions will address how
these factors broaden the market for remote deposit
services and how they will improve the value proposition
to both financial institutions and their commercial
customers.
