Born in Vienna in 1937, Behr recounts his childhood there under the Nazis. His father was a high-ranking Nazi who was convicted of war crimes and executed after the war; his mother, once a famous opera singer, was reduced to running an inn. Fast eine Kindheit was published in 2002 by Eichborn AG, Frankfurt am Main. Distributed in the US by Trafalgar Square Trafalgar Square, in Westminster, London, England, named for Lord Nelson's victory at the battle of Trafalgar. The statue surmounting the Nelson memorial column (185 ft/56 m high) was sculpted (1840–43) by E. H. Baily.  Publishing.
