The Allworx System Software 6.7 release brings the following capabilities to the Allworx 6x, 10x, and 24x voice and network systems:

* One Touch Day-Night Mode - designed for businesses that need the flexibility to change their Auto Attendants greetings, messaging and call routing in real-time as well as from remote locations. The new feature also provides the ability to confirm whether the system is currently in Day or Night Mode with a glance at an Allworx phone.

* 3-Digit & 4-Digit Extension Setup - offers the flexibility to choose between three or four-digit extensions, as well as the scalability to increase the total number of extensions as the business grows. Also included is greater flexibility in assigning Direct Inward Dialing See DID.

* Enhanced Call Detail Reports - ideal for call centers and companies with large call volumes. Call Assistant is a Windows PC-based tool, fully-integrated with all Allworx VoIP phones and designed to bring ease and efficiency to the operators, receptionists or individual users, both local and/or remote, when they want to monitor the state of every line in the system and to effectively dispatch calls by answering, transferring, parking or sending to voicemail via their PC.

Call Assistant 2.1 brings the following capabilities to the Allworx 6x, 10x, and 24x voice and network systems:

* Call Recording Feature - calls can now be recorded with Call Assistant 2.1. Recorded calls are saved on a PC as a standard WAV file The native digital audio format in Windows. Using the .WAV file extension, 8- or 16-bit samples can be taken at rates of 11,025 Hz, 22,050 Hz and 44,100 Hz. The highest quality (16-bit at 44,100 Hz) is the sampling rate of an audio CD and uses 88KB of storage per second. , allowing for simple playback via Windows Media Player Digital jukebox software for Windows from Microsoft that plays a variety of audio, video and streaming formats including MP3, WMA, CD audio and MIDI. Starting with Version 6.2 in 1999, the Windows Media Rights Manager was added for securing copyrighted content.  (included with all Windows OS versions).

* Call History Tab in the Switchboard view - this new tab shows completed calls, missed inbound calls, and unanswered outbound calls.
