Alltel to Offer Motorola RAZR V3c; Watch Live Television with New CDMA EVDO Handset.

, announce today that the Motorola RAZR V3c mobile phone will be available at Alltel stores nationwide starting Monday. Customers can watch live television on the new CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band.  EVDO handset through MobiTV.

The Motorola RAZR V3c features a 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom Simulating a longer focal length in a digital camera via software. The digital zoom is accomplished via image enhancement software within the camera itself rather than the inherent mechanics of the physical zoom lens. For more details, see optical zoom. , video capture and playback and MP3 capabilities. The phone has Bluetooth functionality as well as BREW 3.1.

The phone will be available through Alltel for $199.99 with a two-year service agreement.

MobiTV is available for $9.99 a month and can be downloaded through the Axcess Apps catalog on the Motorola RAZR V3c.

With Axcess Mobile Web 2.0, customers can browse Web sites, send and receive email, play Web games and receive news, weather and sports alerts and directory information on their phones. Axcess Mobile Web can be added to any service plan for $5.99 per month.

Alltel Axcess Messaging Packs let customers send and receive any combination of text, picture, video or instant messages for one low monthly price. Messaging Packs start at $5.99 per month for 300 messages. With the All Axcess Pass, customers receive unlimited text, picture and video messaging in addition to Axcess Mobile Web 2.0 for $19.99 a month.
