Alltel Offers Weather Radar, Forecasts from The Weather Channel.

:AT) and The Weather Channel Interactive are now offering customers radar, forecasts and severe weather information on their wireless phones.

Alltel customers can now access The Weather Channel's comprehensive weather data, including current conditions and forecasts for more than 98,000 locations, with 44,000 radar maps covering the U.S. mainland, Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla. , Alaska and Hawaii.
