Allstate Insurance Company NW Region Annual Giving Campaign Raises $320,000 For Charity; Employees and Agents Donate $165,000 to Washington Non-Profit Organizations.

 have contributed more than $320,000 to non-profit organizations A non-profit organization (abbreviated "NPO", also "non-profit" or "not-for-profit") is a legally constituted organization whose primary objective is to support or to actively engage in activities of public or private interest without any commercial or monetary profit purposes.  through the company's Annual Giving Annual giving is one of the most important areas in an organization’s fundraising efforts. Annual giving consists of many separate solicitation vehicles. When these vehicles are assembled together with skill, they can form the foundation of the institution’s  Campaign.

More than $165,000 was contributed to charities in Washington state.

The Allstate Annual Giving Campaign gives each employee and agent an opportunity to contribute to any non-profit organization of their choice, and Allstate matches their donation by 15 percent, with an additional 5 percent going to the local United Way Community Fund. This year's campaign took place September 17-28.

Agents and employees in five states -- Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii -- participate in the campaign for the Northwest Region. This year, more than $320,000 was raised by the Northwest Region; more than $16,000 of the total was donated by agents and employees for the disaster relief in New York New York, state, United States
