Allstate's Mobile Response Units Arrive in Southern California.Nation's largest publicly held insurer on the scene to help customers affected by the wildfires with immediate needs NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- Allstate Insurance Company announced today that two Mobile Response Units have arrived in Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, to assist customers affected by the wildfires. The units are specially outfitted motor homes that provide a place for customers to meet with catastrophe specialists to begin the claim handling process.
