Allscripts Included in New NASDAQ Global Select Market.


CHICAGO -- Allscripts Allscripts Therapeutics A handheld electronic prescribing product  (Nasdaq: MDRX), the leading provider of clinical software, connectivity and information solutions that physicians use to improve healthcare, announced today that it is included in the new NASDAQ Global Select Market. The NASDAQ listing tier has the highest initial listing standards of any exchange in the world, with measures including market value, liquidity and earnings. The change took effect July 5. Previously, Allscripts had been listed on the NASDAQ National Market.

In conjunction with the creation of the new Global Select Market tier, NASDAQ will rename Re`name´
