Allotment loo fuss; YourSay.

WHAT a kerfuffle over a toilet for Broad Lane allotments (Mail, July 25).

After 11 years I had to give up going to the allotment due to age and medical reasons. A grand set of folk laboured there, meeting regularly. A bunch of us twice a year on a Sunday morning would cut back briars and weeds and sweep the longish drive to our hut; many wives often came.

Do these protesters think allotment holders have forgotten to pull a chain?
