Allot Communications Acquires NetReality; Combines Teams and Technologies to Form Solid Base for Continued Growth.

Allot Communications, a premier provider of policy-based networking solutions, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets and intellectual properties of privately held NetReality, a major provider of network application priority switches (NAPS). The acquisition continues Allot's aggressive and determined strategy to become the leader in quality of service (QoS) and bandwidth management Controlling the traffic flow in a network. Under the terms of the agreement, NetReality's research and development employees have joined Allot, and continue to develop and support all NetReality products. Employees of NetReality operations, customer support, sales and marketing teams have merged into Allot's world-wide sales and marketing organizations and continue to promote, sell, produce, ship and support NetReality customers and channels. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
