Alloptic Selected for 2,000 Home FTTH Project in Venezuela.

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Alloptic, Inc., a global leader in the design and development of Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (GEPONs), the most widely deployed next generation access network solution, announced today that they have been selected by Italvision XXI for a 2,000 home development in the city of Maracay, Venezuela. The development, Base Sucre, is the first phase of multi-phase project that will bring FTTH technology and broadband services to 500,000 residents.
