Allina Hospitals & Clinics Selects Saba; Largest Health Care System in Minnesota Leverages Saba Enterprise Learning Solution for Quick Time-to-Value of Automated Medical Record System.

Allina will use Saba Enterprise Learning, along with Saba Collaboration, to provide a comprehensive learning solution in support of its implementation of a new automated medical record system.

The roll-out of Allina's automated medical record system will occur over the next few years and is one of the largest of its kind in the nation. Once implemented, Allina's automated medical record system will enable caregivers to easily access their patients' complete medical histories at any of its eleven hospitals and sixty-five medical clinics. Having all of a patient's information in a single, shared electronic record will improve the quality and safety of patient care, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness in the way that care is delivered.

The ability to quickly and effectively train physicians and employees on the new system is a key factor in the overall success of Allina's automated medical record system. Saba Enterprise Learning will quickly enable Allina to begin its training program and recognize the quickest time-to-value of its automated record system.
