Allina Health System Partners with HealthOnline to Launch Internet Channel.


COLUMBIA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 1999--

HealthOnline, Inc. and Minneapolis-based Allina Health System has announced the launch of an "Internet Channel The Internet Channel is a version of the Opera 9 web browser for use on the Wii by Opera Software and Nintendo.[1] On December 22, 2006, a free beta version (promoted as a "trial version") of the browser was released. ": a Web site for consumers and healthcare providers using the Allina brand name - Medformation.com.

The partnership between the two companies calls for a multi-year interactive media agreement that names HealthOnline as the sole provider of advertising and sponsorship sales and account management for the channel.

Serving the state of Minnesota and several communities in adjacent states, Allina will provide consumers, initially within Minnesota, the opportunity to access healthcare information, healthcare providers, support groups and other community health resources. As a regionally focused healthcare channel, Medformation.com gives providers a unique ability to attract and communicate with consumers within their geographic area.

Dr. David Pryor David Hampton Pryor (born August 29, 1934) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives and United States Senator from the State of Arkansas. Pryor also served as Governor of Arkansas from 1975 to 1979 and was a member of the Arkansas House of , chief information officer for Allina Health System, said, "HealthOnline is our chosen partner to help us proactively build the consumer Web site.
