) Wednesday announced that it has received the Pratt & Whitney Eagle of Excellence award for "Most Valuable F119 Subcontractor" on the F119 engine program.

The award was presented to the Engines Systems and Accessories unit of AlliedSignal Aerospace Equipment Systems. In giving the award, Pratt & Whitney lauded AlliedSignal for its cost management, product quality, and responsiveness to design changes during the time period beginning March 1997 through August 1998.

Among its accomplishments were product cost reductions and the completion of qualification testing in an aggressive 13-month schedule.
