AlliedSignal Engineered Materials Names Naro Vice President Of Finance For Specialty Chemicals Division.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, New Jersey--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 1996-- AlliedSignal Engineered Materials announced the appointment of Chris Naro as Vice President of Finance for its Specialty Chemicals division, effective August 1, 1996.

Naro will be responsible for Specialty Chemicals' financial operations and the coordination of the financial organizations of its components: Riedel-de Haen, a leading European specialty chemicals manufacturer; Performance Additives and Performance Chemicals; and AlliedSignal's UOP joint venture, a leading supplier of technology, products and processes to the refining and petrochemical industry.

Naro will also be responsible for Specialty Chemicals' Information Systems.

Currently director of business analysis and planning in the AlliedSignal corporate controller's office, Naro will relocate to Specialty Chemicals' headquarters in Seelze, Germany. In his new position, Naro will report to Specialty Chemicals President Dr. David C. Hill. Hill said Naro's "skills and expertise will be of great value to building AlliedSignal's worldwide Specialty Chemicals business."

Naro joined AlliedSignal in 1994, after four years as a consultant with McKinsey and Co. Inc. in Houston. Previously, he worked as a chemical engineer for Mobil Oil in Germany and New Jersey and as a process engineer for Chevron Oil in California.
