Allied updates ISO certification.


Allied Metal Co., Chicago, has announced that its quality management system is now compilant with ISO (1) See ISO speed.

A certificate of compliance was recently issued to Allied Metal Co., a smelter of secondary zinc and aluminum alloys, by QMI QMI Quality Management Institute

 of Cleveland, and is valid for three years. The certification replaces a previous ISO 9002 registration.

ISO compliance represents Allied Metal's voluntary agreement to adhere to adhere to

 internationally recognized standards of quality management practices. The approval process involves a rigorous independent audit, company President David Fink says.

He adds that meeting the strict standards of ISO 9001:2000 will enable Allied to provide the highest quality products and services to its customers.
