Allied World Assurance Company Announces Program Manager Agreement.

PEMBROKE, Bermuda -- Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd (NYSE: AWH) today announced that effective immediately C.V. Starr & Company will offer excess casualty insurance for public entity, residential and commercial contracting risks on behalf of Allied World Assurance Company (U.S.) Inc. and Newmarket Underwriters Insurance Company, subsidiaries of Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd. The agreement enables Allied World U.S. and Newmarket Underwriters to expand its national excess casualty platform alongside C.V. Starr & Company's extensive distribution network, and allows C.V. Starr & Company to add further capacity to its existing portfolio.

Allied World U.S. Senior Vice President and head of field operations John McElroy commented, "We are excited about our relationship with C.V.
