Allied World Assurance Company Announces Pricing of Senior Notes Offering.


HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd (NYSE NYSE

) announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2016. The senior notes will bear interest at an annual rate of 7.50% per year.

The proceeds from the offering will be used to repay the remaining portion of the Company's bank debt and for general corporate purposes.
