"After intensive, seven-day-a-week negotiations for the past month, the APA Board of Directors has approved a Tentative Agreement that provides American Airlines management with the $660 million in annual cost savings that they have been seeking from the pilots. The next step for APA is a 14-day membership ratification process during which all APA members in good standing will have the opportunity to vote for or against the Tentative Agreement.

"At this juncture, we are not prepared to release specifics of the Tentative Agreement. As soon as we have provided our membership with details of the Tentative Agreement, we will make that information available to the public."
