Allied Domecq to Launch New Atelier Courvoisier Signature Luxury Goods Label, Appoints Celebrated Couturiers Ruffian as Creative Design Directors.

 PLC announced today it will launch Atelier Courvoisier(R), a signature luxury brand line, in Spring 2004 under the creative design direction of world-renowned fashion designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais of Ruffian. The Atelier Courvoisier collection will include a range of Men's & Women's Apparel and Accessories inspired by Napoleon with a heavy emphasis on Luxury and Classicism classicism, a term that, when applied generally, means clearness, elegance, symmetry, and repose produced by attention to traditional forms. It is sometimes synonymous with excellence or artistic quality of high distinction.  with a Modern twist.

Ruffian has received international acclaim for their accessories driven label, which sells in Barneys, Takashimaya and more. The duo has joined Atelier Courvoisier to create a collection that captures the essence of the Courvoisier brand, dating back to the 1800's and Napoleon -- widely considered one of the first fashion conscience rulers.

Atelier Courvoisier premiered its inaugural women's and men's line with a presentation of the collection at New York's fashion week.
