Allied Capital Promotes Philip McNeill and James Shevlin.

) announced Wednesday the promotions of two of its investment officers.

Philip A. McNeill was promoted to serve as a Managing Director of the company. McNeill has been a Principal and senior investment officer in Allied Capital's mezzanine finance group for five years, and will now share the responsibility for leading the mezzanine finance group.

McNeill has ten years of mezzanine and venture capital investment experience, which follows eight years as an entrepreneur. McNeill received his undergraduate degree “First degree” redirects here. For the BBC television series, see First Degree.
