It is chiefly residential. , N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 2000 Allied Business Intelligence, Inc. today announced that it has filed a lawsuit in Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of against Mindbranch, Inc., formerly known as Publications Resource Group, Inc. The lawsuit alleges breach by Mindbranch of its Distribution Agreement with ABI Abi (ā`bī) [short for Abijah], in the Bible, King Hezekiah's mother. The complaint alleges that ABI has been damaged as a result of the failure of Mindbranch to maintain the confidentiality of ABI's privileged and sensitive business information by, among other things, permitting a member of its Board, who is a major shareholder and former officer to be involved with a direct competitor of ABI. Tim Archdeacon, President of ABI, stated that, "The confidentiality of our proprietary data is at the very heart of our relationship with our distributors. When Mindbranch failed to satisfactorily rectify rec·ti·fy v. 1. To set right; correct. 2. To refine or purify, especially by distillation. our concerns, we had no choice but to terminate the Distribution Agreement and file this action."
