Allianz Life Taps New Vice President for Life Distribution.


MINNEAPOLIS -- Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  (Allianz Life(R)) has named Jeffrey (Jeff) Suyematsu, Vice President of Life Distribution for the Allianz Individual Insurance Group, LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

, a division of Allianz Life. In this position, Suyematsu is responsible for developing a strategic plan for marketing a new line of traditional and equity-linked life insurance products.

Suyematsu brings broad-based life insurance and investment experience to Allianz Life. Prior to joining Allianz Life, he spent more than 25 years at the Prudential Insurance Company. There he progressed through a series of executive management positions in many of the company's subsidiaries including its investments, mutual fund and brokerage operations. In his last role as Vice President, Senior Coordinator, he helped the investments division achieve record sales growth and profitability, led his region to rank #1 in sales performance and asset protection, and contributed to the design and development of new annuity products for the company.

Suyematsu will drive Allianz Life - the nation's leading provider of equity index annuities since 2000(1) - to a leading position in the life insurance market.
