Alliant Techsystems (ATK) has selected L-3 Interstate Electronics' TruTrack Evolution gun-hardened, miniaturised GPS receiver to provide positioning data for the US Army's Precision Guidance kit programme. The kit allows the army to outfit the existing inventory of HE rounds with a low-cost guidance capability.
