BISYS is expanding its industry alliances and acquisitions. In separate announcements, the financial services provider said it would support clients using Harland Financial Solutions' DepositPro system with electronic IRA document and other retirement-related support services; acquire Dalton Publications, publisher of materials for candidates seeking Certified Financial Planners certification; and acquire Harrison James Group LLC, a national insurance brokerage firm specializing in wholesale distribution of traditional and variable life insurance and annuities.

Dallas-based Oak Bank & Trust Co. allied itself with Parkvest Capital Group Inc. The new firm will be known as Parkvest BancGroup LLC. The alliance will expand the financial services available at Oak Bank's five offices in North Texas to include mortgage financing.
