The Hands On Network The Hands on Network is a non-profit volunteer organization focusing on community service that is based in Atlanta, Georgia. About
According to their website, Hands On Network coordinates a number of "Hands On cites" across the United States.
 Corporate Service Council, an alliance of 47 Fortune 500 companies and civic organizations, challenged 100,000 volunteers to step forward as part of National Volunteer Week, to recruit RECRUIT. A newly made soldier.  and train individuals to manage thousands of service projects during the next two years.

The 100,000 Hands On volunteers will be composed of individuals from corporations and colleges and will also consist of the general public.

"Our goal is to create a sustainable model that will yield volunteer-driven projects and community impact," said Michelle Nunn, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and co-founder of the Hands On Network.

Project goals include improving 1,000 underserved schools and recreation centers, provide advocacy The act of Pleading or arguing a case or a position; forceful persuasion.  and accessibility for individuals with disabilities, and build or renovate 1,000 parks, playgrounds and greenspaces.
