Alliance Systems Introduces New Six-Slot PCI-X Server.

PLANO, Texas -- Alliance Systems, an original design manufacturer (ODM) of high-reliability servers, today announced the launch of its I-4000x R2 system. The new platform, developed and tested by Alliance's Dallas Design Center, is optimized for medium-density communications applications such as contact centers, call logging and call recording. This new system is designed to bridge the gap for companies that have existing PCI-X based applications but want high performance CPUs and I/O.

"The I-4000x R2 fits a market need that no other vendor has addressed by enabling software developers to maintain their investments in PCI-X technology while taking advantage of the newer higher performance CPUs and I/O."

Whether you are implementing full-time recording, selective monitoring, unified messaging or other telephony solutions, the I-4000x R2 has a 4U form factor and supports six full-length, full-height telephony cards -- providing up to 24 T1/E1 spans or supporting up to 12 T1 trunk taps, 144 station-tapped lines or T1/E1 service observe cards.

To provide all of the required storage the I-4000x R2 supplies scalable capacity both inside and outside the system. Up to 3.2 TB of internal storage or up to 6 TB combined internal and external storage can be achieved using the dual-channel SCSI card and external RAID box. Engineered for demanding requirements, the I-4000x R2 comes standard with superior power and cooling. In addition, the I-4000x R2 was certified with six telephony cards and carries UL/CUL/CSA; CE Mark; CE Safety; FCC Part 15; Class A; ISTA; and VCCI certification.

Along with high-performance features such as dual Intel Xeon 3.6 GHz processors with 800 MHz Front Side Bus, Extended 64-bit Memory Technology (EM64T) and Hyper-Threading, the I-4000x R2 provides non-stop operation with robust redundancy of critical components including hot-swap N+1 redundant power supplies, hot-swap hard drives, hot-swap cooling fans, various RAID solutions and dual Gigabit Ethernet.
