Alliance Systems Forms MAG Business Unit.

PLANO, Texas -- Alliance Systems, Ltd. announces the formation of the Military, Aerospace and Government Business Unit (MAG) to expand its reach into the military, defense, aerospace, and government sectors. With a long history of providing computing solutions and services, Alliance Systems is broadening its focus to include these key sectors. The new business unit includes a team of sales, engineering, and integration specialists with over 75 years of combined dedicated military focused experience.

The MAG Unit specializes in the design, manufacturing, logistics, and support for custom mobile computing systems, command and control systems, and communications systems to support the needs of this unique vertical segment. The MAG Unit's core competencies reside in their ability to rapidly design, develop, test, and manufacture mission-driven tactical commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) servers, RAID arrays, rack-mount LCD monitors, and keyboards for deployment by the US Military, Homeland Security, Public Safety, and Federal agencies.

With innovative thermal designs including thermal electric heating, intelligent fan control, spray cool, liquid cooling, and heat piping, these standards-based products are at the forefront of our efforts to provide highly-reliable products to support defense initiatives. Our Intel(R), Sun(R), and VIA(R) based systems come in 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U, and 7U form factors and are fully configurable to meet customer specific applications and needs.

Modular customizable platforms built on a variety of technology standards offer highly dependable, flexible, and scalable hardware solutions. Designed to meet various MIL-STDs including shock and vibration; salt-fog, fungus; acoustic noise and EMI tests, these small-footprint enclosures provide high-performance, low-power consumption, and low-thermal output. One of the MAG Unit's flagship products, the Predator M Duo, combines a ruggedized, modular computer with a 12.1-inch touch screen display with programmable keys to create a complete mobile solution for mounting in any public service or military vehicle.

The MAG Unit also provides an array of LCD technologies including a solution comprised of computing and video technologies that contribute to an integrated modeling, simulation, and analysis solution. The gaming industry has come up with remarkable developments in simulation graphics and by incorporating these innovations into computing systems, military, and commercial flight simulators can deliver increasing realistic and technologically advanced experiences. Additional LCD technologies include NVIS NVIS - Near Vertical Incidence Skywave
NVIS - Night Vision Imaging Spectrometer
NVIS - Night Vision Imaging System
NVIS - Nuclear Verification Information System
compatible and daylight-readable displays with custom aluminum enclosures, touch-screen access, integrated power and sound, with rack-mount and hard-mount options available to meet military requirements.
