Alliance Medical Names John Grotting Chairman and CEO.

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2004

Alliance Medical Corporation (Alliance), a leading reprocessor of single-use medical devices (SUDs), today announced that Chairman John Grotting has joined the company full time as Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . Grotting and Company President Rick Ferreira will form the Office of the CEO.

"John brings significant management experience and a strong track record to Alliance and continues to be an outstanding chairman," said Rick Ferreira, president of Alliance. In addition, John's deep understanding of quality improvement processes in hospitals along with his strong reputation among health system executives will further strengthen our services and fast growth."

Grotting has 30 years of hospital and healthcare management leadership experience. Prior to joining Alliance, Grotting served as President and CEO of Bridge Medical, a leading developer of hospital medication management systems. Under Grotting's direction, Bridge Medical developed its bar-code point-of-care hospital software and successfully implemented its technology in customer sites for prevention of medication errors. Prior to Bridge Medical, he held top executive positions at Allina Health System and Legacy Health System. Grotting currently serves on the boards of Vantage Oncology, Skylight Systems and ForHealth Technology.
