Alliance Imaging Announces Acquisitions in Northwest Indiana.

), a leading national provider of outsourced diagnostic imaging services, today announced that it has acquired three free-standing imaging centers and three mobile, shared-service systems in the Northwest Indiana market from various entities affiliated with Radiologic Associates of Northwest Indiana Inc., effective July 1, 2002.

These acquisitions of free-standing imaging centers include a multi-modality center, an Open MRI 1. (application) MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

 center, and a PET center. The mobile, shared-service systems include two SPECT SPECT single-photon emission computed tomography.

Combined, these acquisitions are expected to annually contribute approximately $8 million in revenues and approximately $3 million in EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) A metric used to show a company's profitability, but not its cash flow.
