Scierie C.F.G. inc. operates a modern sawmill and has cutting rights to 126,200 cubic metres of timber annually. The company's woodlands are located next to those being developed by Alliance Forest Products Inc. "This strategic alliance allows us to increase our fibre supply and our involvement in local socio-economic development," said Pierre Monahan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Forest Products Inc. following the closing of the transaction.
