:ALLIF) has entered into a first look television and development association with Midwest Productions Inc., a partnership between Luke Perry Luke Perry (born Coy Luther Perry III on October 11, 1966)[1] is an American actor best known for his role as Dylan Michael McKay in the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210.  and Manager Cyd Levin, it was announced by Laurie Pozmantier, executive vice president, Alliance Television and Tom Fortuna, vice president for Midwest Productions.

The agreement covers all areas of television, including series, movies and mini-series for network, cable and firstrun syndication, and represents a first such association for actor-producer Perry.

Named as vice president for Midwest Productions is Tom Fortuna, who joins the new company from Michael Filerman Productions at Warner Brothers Warner Brothers (b. Eichelbaums) movie executives; Harry (Morris) (1881–1958), born in Krasnashiltz, Poland; Albert (1884–1967), born in Baltimore, Md.; Samuel (1887–1927), born in Baltimore, Md.  Television, where he produced CBS' upcoming thriller "Once You Meet A Stranger," starring Jacqueline Bisset and Teresa Russell; and NBC's "Deadly Family Secrets."

He previously developed projects for Hearst Entertainment, including "Poisoned by Love" for CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast. ; "Stranger in the Family" for ABC ABC

Midwest Productions will base its operations in the Los Angeles offices of Alliance Communications.

In addition to his new development association with Alliance Communications Corp., Perry has recently completed filming of "Normal Life," directed by John McNaughton for New Line, in which he co-stars with Ashley Judd; "Riot" for Showtime, a re-telling of the 1992 Los Angeles riots; "Fifth Element," directed by Luc Besson; and "American Stray," directed by Michael Covert.

Perry made his feature film debut in a starring role in "8 Seconds," the remarkable account of champion bullrider Lane Frost, which was directed by John Avildson. Drawn by its action, drama and simplicity, and in order to maintain the story's integrity, Perry developed the film with his partner Cyd Levin, who executive produced, and Michael Shamberg who produced.

In 1989, he was chosen for a starring role in the internationally popular television series "Beverly Hills 90210," in which he portrayed the brooding but sensitive Dylan McCay. The highly-rated program won a Golden Globe Award for Best Dramatic Television series in 1991.
