Alliance Building Services clocks up another record year.


Alliance Building Services announced record 32% sales growth in 2006. The company gained significant market share throughout New York New York, state, United States

First Quality Maintenance, Alliance's cleaning division, also won numerous important contracts in 2006. Highlighted contracts include a 10-property, 2 million square-foot portfolio of Joseph P. Day buildings; 509, 535 and 545 Fifth Ave.; the Daily News Building at 220 E. 42nd St.; the Lefcourt National Building at 521 Fifth Ave.; 660 Madison Ave.; a contract renewal at premier office complex Reckson Plaza; 286 and 290 Madison Ave.; and 1140 Ave. of the Americas.

Bright Star Couriers earned contracts to open messenger centers at new locations including 44 Wall Street, 750 Third Ave. and 485 Lexington Ave. The company celebrated Messenger Appreciation Week in October with an appreciation dinner where standout employees were honored with prizes including an iPod, an American Express American Express (NYSE: AXP), sometimes known as "AmEx" or "Amex", is a diversified global financial services company, headquartered in New York City. The company is best known for its credit card, charge card and traveler's cheque businesses.  gift certificate, a bike shop gift certificate and a new bicycle. In 2006, Alliance inaugurated the Achievement Award program, which recognizes marked professional growth, and continued to present its most outstanding employees with plaques and monetary gifts in recognition of stellar work.
