Alliance Bank Hosts Real Estate Market Conference; Leading Regional Economist Stephen Fuller Leads Discussion.

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Alliance Bankshares Corporation (NASDAQ:ABVA) last night hosted a Real Estate Conference, a discussion of the local commercial and residential real estate markets. The meeting was led by Dr. Stephen S. Fuller, Director of the Center for Regional Analysis and noted economist. The event, held at the Tower Club in McLean, Virginia, was attended by approximately 75 business leaders from across the region.

"We are delighted to have had Dr. Fuller discuss his views on the state of the marketplace," said Thomas A. Young, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank. "This seminar is the first in a series of informative conferences that the Bank, along with Alliance Home Funding, will be hosting in the coming year."

Given the outlook for the region, we anticipate steady, continued growth throughout the region for the next several years."
