The credit facility will refinance the current senior bank indebtedness of Alliance Atlantis and its subsidiaries and will also be available for acquisitions, to fund internal growth initiatives and for general corporate purposes. The facility which is not subject to any amortization, will have a term of five years from the closing date, which is expected to be on or about November 30, 2000. Mr. Judson Martin, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alliance Atlantis stated, "This now completes one of the major balance sheet initiatives designed to strengthen the Company's capital structure that we announced last month at our annual meeting.
