Allfirst Financial Inc. announced today that it, together the Allfirst Preferred Capital Trust (the "Trust"), has elected to extend its offer to exchange up to $100,000,000 aggregate liquidation The collection of assets belonging to a debtor to be applied to the discharge of his or her outstanding debts.
