Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS:DRTE DRTE Defence Research Telecommunications Establishment ) today announced that its SalesPlus Americas division has signed a licensing agreement with Allergan, Inc. (NYSE NYSE

:AGN), a research-based, global healthcare company based in Irvine California, to provide software and support services for Allergan's multi-disciplinary North American sales representatives.

This contract, covering 330 reps, will supply Allergan's five discrete sales teams with SalesPlus software and services. SalesPlus, the new division of Dendrite for Mid-Range Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies in the US, offers full-function, focused tools designed to deliver maximum results. John LaHaye, Senior Vice President of Dendrite, provided Allergan with a `commitment to performance.' "We will provide end-to-end support to Allergan," LaHaye said. "Our fully integrated service model will meet all of Allergan's sales force effectiveness needs and we're looking forward to globally expanding our relationship with this important player in the pharmaceutical industry." Allergan markets to over 100 countries, and SalesPlus is confident they will be able to provide solutions to any of Allergan's global needs.

SalesPlus was selected over newer and traditional front-office vendors. Mike Ball, President of Allergan North America, said, "SalesPlus was the best choice for Allergan on many levels. First, SalesPlus offers a full understanding of pharmaceutical sales force best practices, and we plan to take advantage of that expertise to build the best system for our sales force. Second, going with SalesPlus and their focus on the vertical pharmaceutical market, our risk factors were minimized given their experience with deploying and completing sales force roll-outs."
