Allen-Bailey names new CEO.

Glenn G. Jackling has been hired as president and CEO of Allen-Bailey Tag & Label Inc., of Caledonia, NY, USA. The privately held corporation, founded in 1911, initiated a search for a new CEO after the passing of George E. Phelps II in the fall of 2006.

Prior to joining Allen-Bailey, Jackling provided a variety of business consulting services for small to mid-size companies, with an emphasis on restructuring through strategic planning, sales and marketing management, and operating and financial controls. He also specialized in financial recovery.

Jackling began his career at Eastman Kodak as quality manager, and held progressively more responsible roles in operations management and business planning. Later in his career he served as president of Newtex Industries Inc., a manufacturer of heat resistant products for the industrial and safety markets, leading its turnaround and succession planning process. With the company recovered, the owner has resumed the CEO position. Jackling has an MBA from the University of Rochester, and both an MS in Applied and Mathematical Statistics and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
