Industry Leader Strengthens National Reach of Rapidly Growing Independent Risk Management Firm

Hyman has joined the firm as Managing Senior Consultant. Mr. Hyman joins BRS with a distinguished career in risk management. Most recently he was Managing Director and Public Entity Practice Leader at Marsh USA, where he focused on best practice organizational direction in servicing the insurance and risk management needs of government entities. His additional responsibilities included management of eight other practice groups and COO for all industry practices.

Recognized for his strong professional competence, Mr. Hyman is former president of the Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA), which represents more than 5,000 units of local government. In 2000, he received PRIMA's Distinguished Service Award. A popular and knowledgeable risk management industry public speaker, he holds a degree in Management from California Coast University and has specialized training from the National Safety Training Institute and the Insurance Institute of America, where he also served on the ARM Advisory and Editorial Committees.
