Allegient Systems Named a Silver Innovation Prize Winner by Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership.

Allegient recognized for delivering quality and process improvement results through its innovative electronic legal invoicing solution

WILTON, Conn. -- Allegient Systems, a leading software and service provider which continues to set the standard in insurance related bill review, today announced that it has been named a silver Innovation Prize Winner by the Connecticut Improvement Award Partnership (CQIA). This award recognizes Allegient's results directed Converting Piles of Paper to Intelligent Electronic Information effort. Allegient's ASP solution used in the effort allows companies and suppliers to electronically submit invoices resulting in the elimination of high volumes of paper invoices, and the inefficiencies and human errors associated with manual paper processing.

The Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership is celebrating its 20th anniversary as America's first state level award to use the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance Excellence criteria and the only state award among 37 other state quality awards that sponsors an annual entry level Innovation Prize.

The CQIA Innovation Prize is available to all organizations with a facility located in Connecticut. These include manufacturers, service companies, educational facilities, hospitals and health care institutions, as well as other not-for-profit organizations. All 102 CQIA Innovation Prizes were ranked by 15 Baldrige trained CQIA examiners aided by a software program that accommodates examiners who also may be applicants.
