WILTON, Conn. -- Allegient Systems, a leading software and service provider who continues to set the standard in legal expense and performance management, today announced the launch and immediate availability of Version 5.3 of their Expense and Performance Management Suite, one of the industry's most broadly utilized litigation management and legal bill review solutions. The new version is available immediately and already in production for all Allegient clients.

Version 5.3 represents Allegient's unwavering commitment to continue to enhance their solution and offer even greater value to their insurer clients and law firm users. Version 5.3 comes on the heels of the recent August 2005 introduction of Version 5.2 that made the Allegient solution the industry's first litigation management offering, with a complete business intelligence solution included as part of the core product.

The enhancements provided with Version 5.3 were primarily driven by requests from Allegient's expansive network of insurer clients and law firm users, ensuring that all litigation management stakeholders are taken into consideration as new functionality is added and workflow processes are enhanced.
