Allegiant Air to Inaugurate Scheduled Non-Stop Service between Sioux Falls Regional Airport and Las Vegas.

Airline is Offering $99 Introductory Fare;

Will Use 161-Seat MD-83 on Route

Allegiant Air, a low-fare Las Vegas-based airline, today announced that it will inaugurate year-round non-stop scheduled jet service and affordable vacation packages to Las Vegas from Sioux Falls Regional Airport on May 6, 2004.

Starting today, Allegiant is offering introductory fares as low as $99 each way on flights between Sioux Falls and the fun and entertainment capital. Reservations can be made on the airline's website at www.allegiantair.com, through the airline's Reservations Center at 888-594-6937 and through professional travel agents.

Allegiant is also offering complete air and hotel vacation packages to Las Vegas starting at $250 per person featuring round-trip air and four hotel nights through its Allegiant Vacations program.

Allegiant said the new Sioux Falls--Las Vegas service will initially operate on Thursday and Sunday each week. The carrier will use 161-seat MD-83 aircraft on the route. The airline said that its market research and input from local community leaders and travel professionals indicate that Tri-state area travelers will welcome the new non-stops and low fares as an alternative to connecting flights or long drives to other airports.

According to Allegiant, starting Thursday, May 6 flights will depart Sioux Falls at 1:00 PM arriving in Las Vegas at 1:50 PM. Flights leaving Las Vegas will depart at 7:45 AM arriving in Sioux Falls at 12:20 PM (all flight times are local).

Allegiant's $99 introductory fare must be purchased by April 10, 2004 and is valid for travel through December 31, 2004. Seats at the sale price are limited and subject to availability. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route range from $109 to $179. (Fares quoted do not include PFC's, segment fees, and security fees up to $8.60 per segment.)

Allegiant Vacations, the airline's vacation division featuring complete air and hotel Las Vegas vacation packages, is offering packages starting at $250 per person, roundtrip. The introductory package rate includes airfare and four hotel nights, double occupancy at the Four Queens if booked by April 10, 2004. Travel on the introductory vacation package rate is available on Thursday or Sunday departures commencing March 6 and must be completed by December 31, 2004.
