Industry Veteran With Over 38 Years Experience in Airline/Aviation

Technical Services Joins Las Vegas-based Airline

Michael P. Baxter has been named Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering for Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air.

In his new position, Baxter directs and manages the airline's Maintenance and Engineering Division which is responsible for line and heavy aircraft maintenance, quality assurance, purchasing and material control, stores, aircraft records, and technical publications.

Baxter joins Allegiant Air with over 38 years experience in maintenance and engineering roles with airlines and aviation related technical services organizations. Prior to joining Allegiant, Baxter served as Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering with National Airlines in Las Vegas.

Baxter also served as a Managing Partner with BAC Services, a company that provides technical, maintenance, operations and marketing consulting services to commercial and business type aircraft owners and operators.

Baxter has also held senior management technical services, maintenance and engineering positions with BAC Services, AAR Corp., and United Airlines.

Baxter is a licensed FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and single engine pilot. He also served in the United States Air Force.

Baxter resides in Henderson, Nevada.
